Ash and Winter is Fire and ice
This is a couples story i wanted from the first time the tension between them was introduced and it did not Disappoint!
I felt Cayden and Lilly - Beckett and Eve Had Very similar stories of revenge turning into Lust - this was alot different it was more of a challenge that drew them closer - with a really Evil villain Lurking in the distance, Cayden so far Has been my Favourite Male MC, but Winter my favourite heroine she was so complex and well written.... Cant wait to get my mitts on Marcuse's book

Yes, it took me a while to read this book, but it was because the school has really enslaved me. Overcoming that, I loved this book with all my heart.
The dynamics of Winter and Asher fascinated me. And I honestly don't know what else to say other than that. Asher was a tough bone to crack, but I loved that Winter didn't give up. She fought, and in the end she won, although it hurts Asher to admit it.
It was quite interesting to see that a character like Asher, who you think is completely tough, has a vulnerability like wanting to know about his father, thinking that in reality that doesn't interest him, but in fact it is a great weak point, and I was fascinated to know that about him.
As for Winter, it was not difficult to know what her vulnerabilities were. It was something easy to guess. Here the interesting thing was to see how Asher learned about it and his character development revolved around knowing Winter from the inside.
I was fascinated that Asher didn't give up on Winter, even when it seemed like he did. He was convinced that she loved him, and fought for her, despite how much she kept him away. I loved seeing how he fell in love, and how he treated her from the moment he began to fall for her.
Without a doubt, this has been my favorite story of the whole series. I don't know if Marcus' story surpasses it, but we'll see.
Now that I know the whole world of the author, I'm dying to read her whole universe in order, and that it becomes my new obsession.

Not my favorite of the series so far but I did enjoy Winter and Asher.
However, I am having a HARD TIME getting over people riding motorcycles for 6 hours in Maine in winter. Or the girl in her tennis whites riding on the back of a bike in 30° weather. Major plot hole but if you ignore that the rest is good.

I love a silly hockey player, motorcycle, wealth disparity, enemies to lovers trip combo lol. With a hint of mafia and sex trafficking. What a book.
But really, I enjoyed this so much I bought a physical copy and have read it at least 4 times.
You should read this for sure.

Graphic: Violence, Trafficking, Kidnapping
My only critique is we didn’t get enough backstory on the mmc. Why was he so dedicated and dangerous?
