This author never disappoints! I loved the dynamic of the characters and how the MFC did not take sh*t from the MMC. The banter and the trying to one up each other kept the story moving forward and at parts made me laugh out loud! It started as a slow burn (which you kinda don't notice because the story was so good that the non immediate sm*t is a non issue), but when it gets to it, it is f*cking on point! The dirty talk on that man *fans face*, sweet baby Jesus! One thing that caught me off guard, was that at the ending of the previous book something happened that showed us what we would be expecting in the next book. I didn't know how it would work it since what happened was very serious, but the author changed the purpose of what spurs the story forward to something not as damaging. I wonder how she would have made it work if she had kept to the original teaser? Anyways...highly recommend if you are in to some nice dark hockey romance, if you love an MMC that is not meek, if your in to slow burns with a really nice f*cking payoff, if your in to some delicious dirty talk, then go ahead and read this b*tch!
