First ATLA Graphic Novel
I really liked the story but I hate that you can't zoom in on the pictures or the text because it was small on all my devices. But I love all ATLA.

The pictues were amazing and i loved the story but the dialoge very often seemed strange and forced, not the way they spoke in the show. *I dont necessarily enjoy graphic novels so that could play a role in my opinion.
it’s actually pretty interesting but i can’t stand the romance
A beautiful, dramatic and funny addition to the avatar canon
This is a great continuation of the series, picking up where it left off with how the separate groups of people reconcile their 100-year-old differences.
After re-reading this installment for the second time, I decided to write a little review.
The thing, that bothered me a bit since my first time reading it, was that while the show felt a bit... quick in places, due to the length of only 20-22 minutes per episode, this comic felt even more rushed, especially in the beginning.
This comic is about Zuko asking Aang to kill him, should he turn out like his father. And a year later, that promise is looking like it needs to be fulfilled.
The actual promise scene for me, was over way too quick. It was just there. And that is the source of the conflict. I would have loved to see a bit more build-up to it, a bit more conversation about it... Maybe even taking this whole first part of the series for it to build up to that point.
But instead, we get a little scene to set up what is essentially the reason for most of the conflict in this book. And I understand that comics or graphic novels are a different medium, and not everything can take a long time to build up to, but still... It felt like there was a little bit missing there.
Everything else though felt very well paced. It was mostly build-up to what I assume is going to escalate in the further installments, but that's exactly why I liked it so much. It took it's time to work towards something bigger. At least, for the most part.
3.5/5 Stars.

This is still as cute, funny, and entertaining as the TV show. I can't believe it took me so long to read them. Toph is still a badass. Sokka is as sarcastic as ever. Aang and Katara is so adorable. I'm not used to their relationship, but Hopefully I'll come to root for them soon.
Well, I'm still team Zutara, so...
-> 4.5
