Teresa is mine. My bones know it. My head. Even the heart I thought was too damaged and scabbed over to be touched knows she belongs with me.”

I devoured this book and I’m so mad that I haven’t read it earlier! This is my first five star of 2020 and I can’t wait to own a paperback copy of my shelves. Tessa Bailey wrote a story that kept me thirsting for more and I couldn’t get enough of Teresa and Will.

I was unsure how their story would play out but these two surprised me from the beginning. Teresa’s heart was so big and of course, she couldn’t help falling in love with Will. He gave her no choice. He was sweet but dominating and also wasn’t quick to jump to conclusions. He had a feeling Teresa was there for something but he still allowed himself to form feelings for her anyway.

I love it when two characters who aren’t looking for love find it and it’s something absolutely beautiful. Reading about these two falling in love was the best time I’ve had reading in a while. HOWEVER, I have to talk about the chemistry!

Holy shit y’all! Tessa Bailey has always written the dirty talkers of my dreams. But Will! I needed a fan and some pearls to clutch. This is what I was expecting when I read Fix Her Up. See quote below,

“I might take you to fancy hotels, baby. Might walk you through those elegant lobbies and demand you be treated like a queen.” He drops forward, bending down to lick a path between my breasts, up and down. Again and again, before lifting his head. “But I will always be the man who fucks you nasty on the floor once we’re upstairs, with your thong twisted around your dripping cunt. We clear?”

Hot damn! The things he would say to Teresa had me shocked but also wanting more. They had chemistry from the first time they met and it lasted throughout the WHOLE book. It’s hard to explain but it was a mix of erotic scenes but also slow burn because Teresa kept holding herself back. How? I don’t know, because ya girl couldn’t be that strong!

All in all, I loved it. It wasn’t perfect but to me it was great! If you are a fan of Tessa Bailey, I highly recommend checking this out!

My least favorite from this author. Just smut without much plot. They keep banging most of the book. Don't get me wrong, I love that but I need more depth into the characters. And I know she can deliver. That why I'm disapointed by this one.
