I honestly couldn't even get halfway through this book and that is very rare for me. While I found the writing slightly interesting at first, it soon became tiresome and seemed to almost be trying too hard. Since I saw the movie first (this is actually the first time I've ever seen a movie and then read the book it was based on so maybe that had some effect) and already knew the plot I really had no motivation to keep reading.
