I really liked this book. The characters lied a little too much for my liking, but none of the lies were that bad, I could understand why people did most of the stuff they did, and most of the characters were pretty alright, I think.
Sometimes the whole story was going on my nerves, but not a lot, most of the time I quite enjoyed reading it, and all in all it was really sad, but also very beautifully written and easy to read and the story and its end did seem very plausible to me. Was a little different to most of the other books I read, and I had a lot of fun reading it.

The story wasn't that bad, but it was not well written.
First I’d like to say that I LOVE the movie and have watched it a million times (sobbing through most of the movie) that being said the book is not the movie but is equally as good! For those who gave this anything less then 5 stars has never lost a love. When I was 19 I lost my high school sweetheart and the father of my child. It has been close to 18 years now, but as I read the words in this book I felt them, every word that was written. Holly’s grieving and her interactions with others is so real. I had tears of sadness and of joy as this book reminded me of my own happy memories. Absolutely loved this book! It gives a good perspective from life, loss, and how someone learns to live again.

I put off reading this for the longest time, thinking it would be another sappy romance, not that there is anything wrong with that, it's just not what I enjoy reading. I was pleasantly surprised however, by how much I enjoyed this story. Although it is at times quite sad, there is a fair amount of humour thrown in and I found myself laughing out loud several times. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it.
(heard most of it, but my audio book became a little skipp-happy so I only got most of the story)
