The epitome of Wodehouse, and the third-funniest novel I can remember reading, falling just short of Catch-22 and another Wodehouse, Right Ho, Jeeves. I hope to remember the expression "pumpkin-headed foozler" for the rest of my life.

Chuckled all the way through
It seems safe to guess that Wodehouse's books are of the "once you've read one you've read them all" type. Personally, I don't feel like reading any more of this stuff. The "situations" in this "comedy of situations" are plenty, the plot is cleverly constructed, but there's absolutely nothing "in" there, no living persons, just eventually rather exhausting cardboard figures.

Just delightful. Not sure how I've lived on this earth for almost half a century without coming acoss P.G. Wodehouse, but so glad to have finally made the acquaintance of the aristocratic and goofy Bertie Wooster and his man Jeeves, who always manages to save the day. A wonderful comedy of errors.
funny
I found this very funny but I think I should have read the previous books in the series first. Yet, highly enjoyable.

This was the best comedic book I have ever read, splendid for someone feeling down.
