So funny and ridiculous! I thoroughly recommend this if you're looking for a light fluffy book with an overdramatic narrator.

Ok, I think I should maybe stop reading books from any series I have read earlier. I feel redundant, I feel the same. I so want to read a book that will completely wow me. 2018 , PLEASE THROW AN AMAZETASTIC BOOK THIS WAY!! Or at least a book I can hate with all my heart. I feel damn stuck

Now that I have my rant out of the way. Here goes the review.

Having read a couple of Jeeves and Wooster novels, I almost know how things are going to shape up(refer to my rant, OK I should stop).

This book has its funny moments that will leave you in splits. There are some places that are so funny, that you want to thrust this book into someone’s hand and make them read it just so you could laugh together.

Bertram Wooster is put into situations where he has to uphold the Code of the Woosters - which is to help someone in need. And how- by pinching Policemen’s helmets, cow creamers, pretending to marry people. And as always, Jeeves comes to his rescue helping him out.

This whole plot centres around a cow creamer. WTH is a cow creamer ? A creamer that is shaped in the form of a cow. Oh the good old days of telegrams, barouches, simple living. Please take me back.

Oh.. What glorious fun!! This is certainly the best of the Jeeves-Wooster stories I have read so far. The master at his best.. What prose!! That incident with the dog in the room.. sublime, hilarious!!

Funny and mostly light, with underlying substance provided by satirical social commentary. Junk food that still has some nutritional value. I love the blithe, innocent enthusiasm of Bertie Wooster. The critic who wrote the forward to my edition commented that the character of Jeeves is somewhat one-dimensional, but I like to think that was intentional: the gentlemen was never meant to know that much about the personal life and thoughts of his gentleman's personal gentleman. Because Bertie is the narrator, it only makes sense that we know little about Jeeves other than his interactions with Bertie.
