It's been a while since I've read a book by Mary Higgins Clark and this was a depressing return from me. Confusing, overworked and uninspired. It will be a while before I read another.
As usual, Mary Higgins Clark keeps you holding on until the end. I have been reading her books since I was a teenager, and always look forward to a new one, and this one did not disappoint.
I like this story. I think it had enough pieces and players to keep it moving. It was very obvious from the begning that they were at the complex to check the antiques but I thought it was Doug who was selling them. Partly right. So it had a nice spin to the end of it.

This book was a little more predictable than I'm used to with Mary Higgins Clark books. I knew the "who done it" early in the book so it was more to read how she was going to show "how" they got away with it. Bummer but it was still a decent and quick read.
Not my favorite MHC. Took too long giving intro into characters and business, but good twists and turns.
I am very disappointed in this book. I have loved all of her other books. This one had too many characters and did not keep my interest. I did not even finish it.
