It was really interesting. I enjoyed the monologues the most, and the story was really tense, the author built it up well.

“But you can’t make people listen. They have to come ‘round in their own time, wondering what happened and why the world blew up under them. It can’t last.”

I’ll never get tired of reading Fahrenheit 451. It’s brilliantly written and resonates so well. Especially as we continue to come closer to being the society that is described and shown in this book. It’s a warning of when people willingly do away with thought and real conversation. It illustrates the importance of books and what’s inside them; the ideas and thoughts of others that show us we are not alone. But it also shows that there’s always hope; that there will always be some who refuse to go along with the destruction and those who only wait for someone to wake them up.

If it’s not in your book, as it seems to only be in certain editions, you should absolutely look up the book’s Afterword and Coda which provide even more insight on both the book and Ray Bradbury’s thoughts on it. If you wish to listen to the audiobook, I recommend the version read by the author himself. He has the perfect voice to narrate this story and I couldn’t imagine listening to it any other way. In this same set, the last disc contains an interview that was conducted with Bradbury, which was absolutely excellent. I cannot recommend this book enough; it will really make you think.
