Demorei bastante pra terminar, amo a história e os personagens são os melhores que eu já li. Muito bom

A wonderfully beautiful story with colourful, memorable characters (shout out to Reepicheep my fav)
and excellent writing and world-building. Would recommend to all fantasy fans when they need a feel-good read.

This is my childhood. I will read and re-read these books my entire life. There is so much Gospel present throughout this masterpiece series.

Ma davvero finisce così? Sul serio?

Ferma al 4° libro da...2 o 3 anni?
Prima o poi lo rileggerò tutto...

Heavy handed religious nonsense

Lewis book is definitely interesting. I myself prefer Tolkiens books over Narnia. Both made their own worlds and put some of heir religious backgrounds in it. But in Tolkiens books it's hidden and in Narnia it just jumps into your faces and dances around so you can't just ignore it.
I think Narnia is full of wonderful ideas and I like how it is told, but I feel that it is lacking depth in it. The characters seem to always be what the story wants them to and they seem to have lost a realistic personality.
All in one I love these books in their own way, but I can't rate it better since all this christian symbols everywhere make the whole thing seem... well, not bad, but I think they distract the reader from the beautiful other parts. I am not sure how christians think about it and if they can enjoy all those christian symbolism but I myself, think without it, the books would have been much more enjoyable! And I didn't like how he made the death seem to be the best thing that can happen to you. (I mean It still is a children book and I don't think at a young age it is a good message that the death is the best thing that can happen to you, because everything is better then... I would fear it would bring some to wrong thoughts... But that's just my opinion/fear.)
