An excellent end to the trilogy. This book really gave a proper explanation to all the events in the first and second books, and kept up a dark yet hopeful tone. 

Definitely a more challenging series but very worth it

I finally read this after reading the first two a few years ago (hides in shame)... I definitely missed a lot of nuance / small details due to not re-reading the prior books I still felt clued in overall and enjoyed finishing the trilogy! I think the first book was strongest for me, but I appreciated the way things wrapped up and it was a very fitting conclusion.

Definitely recommend reading soon after the others so you don't forget too much and lose the richness of how everything all plays together in this finale. In my opinion, the weakest book in the trilogy. The ending made me cry though.
