This series just keeps getting better! While I enjoyed the first three books in Penny's Inspector Gamache series, A Rule Against Murder marks a noted uptick in the writing and character development. Penny's descriptions made me feel that I was also at the Manoir Bellechasse in the middle of a Quebec summer, and I love how she continually reveals more about the characters as she delves into the psychological undertones of the mystery. Read if you enjoy: cozy mysteries, psychological mysteries, Quebec settings
Moderate: Death
