After reading book 17 in the Virgin River series, which I enjoyed but not as much as her earlier Virgin River books I thought I would give Sullivan’s Crossing series ago. I absolutely loved the first book in this series, outstanding writing by Carr as usual.
I loved Maggie and Cal, each character had a journey they were on to find out who they were and where they were heading in life, what would be their priorities. I love the journey and digging deep into the characters lives with their trials and tribulations. Absolutely outstanding writing. This author can’t go wrong in my opinion, even if I haven’t enjoyed one of her books as much as another there is always something about her writing that appeals.
Can’t wait to read the rest in the series.
