I'm enjoying this manga version of Asuka more than the anime version. Not sure why, but she just seems to work better here.

She’d fooled me with her arrogance. But it crossed my mind just then. . . That maybe Asuka is a normal girl after all.

I like Soryu even though sometimes *rolls eyes*.

I'm just curious why everybody made such a big deal of Shinji and her being able to work together when they did nothing like this in regards of Shinji and Rei? I mean, I get that they had to be in synch for the battle with the Angel but in general?

Also, it's interesting that Soryu has some different information on what happened with Second Impact.
