This is in my top 5 favorite books of all time. I was crying at midnight and 9am finishing this… truly haven’t cried this book over a book!

This is a masterpiece! There are so many quotes I highlighted that it won't fit in this review. I am in awe and shocked on the effect this book has on me. I loved every moment of it. I usually don't grab a book like this but l'm so glad I did. This is one of my favorite read so far this year.

The writing is so beautiful. I loved all the imagery of the cerulean sea. And the contrast of Linus "home" with how gray, dark, and rainy is written so so well. His growth and empathy is shown and not told. And I love the lgbtq representation.

Linus is the follow by the books character so seeing him get out of his shell was amazing to see. All six of these kids pushed him in ways he never believed.

I loved every single one of these characters including Linus. He grew on me. My favorites are Sal and Chauncey. My shaylas. They've all been through so much but they have each other. It made me realize how much privilege most of us have in our day to day lives compared to others. It touches on ableism without being forceful. It made me appreciate those who are different than us.

This book really hits home for me. And I don't think I want to be anywhere else other than the cerulean sea.

This is the few times where I don't think I will read the second book because I'm just so happy and satisfied with the ending of this one.

Gay. Loved it. Surround yourself with those who care most for you, and happiness will be just around the corner.

Conozco a estos personajes desde hace unos días, pero si algo malo les pasase, mataría a Marty y luego me desviviría yo.

Ha sido un viaje TAN BONITO. He llorado muchísimo. Los personajes están tan bien escritos, la historia es tan fluida!! Increíble. No esperaba que me fuese a gustar tantísimo.

i enjoyed this book until i was informed it was inspired by the Sixties Scoop. WTF

“La casa sul mare celeste” credo meriti molto più di 5⭐️

Omg my heart, this was the cutest book I’ve ever read. I need more! I can’t wait for the second. I feel like I know all the characters, I want to live in their home

I picked this up as I saw it recommended as a wholesome read and what a wholesome read it was.
This book is immediately going in my top 10 books of all time.
The warmth, the interactions, the jokes, the love. This book overflows with it.

I've got to say I was waiting the whole book for something truly bad to happen. But in the end I guess it didn't? Okay, it wasn't all daisies and roses but still... And honestly when I reached the ending I was glad. This book was refreshing in some type of way.

As of now there will forever be a cerulean hole in my chest. I need more. I want to read more about Arthur, Linus, Talia, Phee, Chauncey, Sal, Theodore, Zoe and Lucy. So TJ, make it happen, will you?
