Jfc, Orwell delivers. Everything hits the fan, no object misses, not even one. I read this novel because I am a fan of Orwell's essays and his writing style, I want to see in turn how he writes a novel.

Took me a surprise that's for sure, but the novel did carry along with it the typical Orwell political topics (as it did with 1984). Least to say, this novel is depressing as hell and I was already in such a crisis before reading this.

The characters, because of their way of portrayal as animals, works wonders when it comes to symbolizing their role in the mad house.

This book will remain forever one of my favorite classics, with a most impactful ending and overall plotline. It's amazing, and criticizes society and the war parties in a way I'd never seen before.

It is made simple, and through the use of animals instead of people it becomes easier for children to judge the animals' actions too. The writing is remarkable.

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

It was a phenomenal book. Some might say it's a children's book - and I've heard George Orwell even said so himself - but it's simply stunning and very moving. The way everything develops and unfolds is just magnificent, and the conclusion of the story itself was outrageous and amazing. I highly, highly recommend this book to literally anyone and everyone, no matter the age. It's a very easy and quick read (I finished it in a day), which portrays a greater picture and has a greater story/moral outlining it; which some may find difficult to grasp at first. Especially if you're still too young to understand. But, my god, was it a fantastic read! And even if you don't get the greater picture at first, it's still a cute and fun, yet also sad story. Highly recommended.
