ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, A MASTERPIECE

Read this with my 9yo for her book club, as I don't remember ever reading it as a child. This book is a great, gentle introduction to World War II and the Holocaust. It opened up so many great conversations with my daughter - I'm so glad I chose to read it along with her.

I absolutely loved this book. I first read it when I was eight and didn't understand the history of the Holocaust. But re-reading this as an adult, knowing the monstrosities that happened, it almost makes me tear up. I recommend this book so much, and it's been a favorite of mine for a long while.
