According to my old goodreads profile, i've already read this series but I don't remember it so I wanted to have a 'reread' of them.

It's a very detailed book - too detailed for me to be honest. As expected, it is science and religion heavy which I didn't care for as I was more interested in the 'cracking the code' side of the story.

I did enjoy it though - i'm interested to see how it'll compare to the rest of the series.

It is an entertaining re-read. It is not my favorite Dan Brown, but it is a compelling story of adventure. There were portions that I just skimmed. I love googling the sculptures mentioned and seeing the detail and hard work put into the book

DNF at 49%..

You feel bad when everyone is talking about loving the book but you just disliked it at the hightest level. The book is so long compared to its plot. Maybe now I have to learn how to dislike a book shamelessly when it's most people's favorite.

Ein gutes Buch, wenn man mal was spannendes will.

This is a re-read. I read it first time when I was 12 and I wasn’t sure if I was still going to like it but… I do. Now, I know there’s plenty of criticism about the book but if you like art history, occultism, symbolism, a good conspiracy theory, or you’re a lapsed catholic,  and you enjoy an actioned pack book with some sexual tension, then you’d enjoy this book.

I read this while on vacation and it was quite the tense read. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and I hope to read other Dan Brown books in the future.
