It’s okay. For once there was a twist I didn’t expect but it was hard to keep up with the multiple different characters.
It may be because I was reading this while also at work but it just seemed to drag for me.

I'm glad I stuck with this because the first 1/5 of it I wasn't really enjoying. It really picked up and started to come together.
I loved this book! Sometimes I find the two story lines with flashbacks confusing to follow but this booked flowed nicely. Kept me guessing what was actually happening even after the main "surprised" was revealed. Easy read that was engaging majority of the time.

This was the first book of Charlie Donlea that I read. It won't be my last.
Such a great book with twists and turns you might or might not see coming.

I normally don't write reviews, since i am not good with words. But more than the book itself, the good reviews deserve the critic.
first of all, oh-so-innocent 48 year old man with 32 year old woman with daddy issues? ew. just EW.
secondly, except the last one, all of the so-called twists were VERY predictable. after the others, the moment we see that the last novel was dark, that was obvious too. I am seriously more shocked that people thought they were twists than the actual "twists" themselves. eesh.
