Decided to give this book a shot after having it show up as a “recommended” pick on Amazon during one of my late night scrolls and I’m so glad that Amazon sought me out.
The story was interesting from the very beginning, it was told from multiple POV’s which kept me on my toes and steered me in many different directions with several possible “suspects” as is the norm in suspense / thriller novels.
Just when I thought I had it figured out, newsflash- I didn’t.
I thoroughly enjoyed the forensic analysis and small details in the investigation as much of it was new information that I didn’t know could be a factor in a potential murder case.
This was my first novel by Charlie Donlea but it definitely won’t be my last.
This was an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .25

I almost DNF’d this at like 30% but ended up pushing through. It wasn’t horrible but also not the most interesting story. The twist wasn’t too shocking and I also felt like he spent way too much time describing different locations or what the characters were thinking, so I would get interested and then get bored.

Twenty Years Later was a crazy good twisty tale that kept you on the edge of your seat with every turn of the page. The ending had a twist I did NOT see coming! In more ways than one😉 10/10 recommend!!
