This story has a lot of potentials but it is messy. It could have been more developed.
Alaska is strong and sassy, her character is well balanced. I am a goner for that.
Zuko is a literally a mafia beast. But it is a light mafia romance: the love interest is more important in the book.
The plot is too light and predictable.

The spice is really good though.
🌶🌶🌶.5/5

In conclusion, go for the character and the spice.

I enjoyed this book but up until half way through I felt like I barely knew the main characters and found them without substance. I'm glad there was more character building
