I just finished watching the crown so I thought it might be interesting to listen to their biographies to gain more perspective on the royals. Diana’s story, her goals and aspirations are extremely inspiring.
The reason I’m rating the book so low is because listening to it got to the point of being insufferable, almost every aspect of the book repeated itself constantly multiple times. You’re better off only listening to the first 3 hours of the book instead of the entire 13… that being said I think I’ll need a break before reading another Royal biography.

Just like her life, I didn't want this to end...
Andrew Morton's additional material in this 25th anniversary edition was nice but didn't feel as authentic and carefully crafted as the original text was from Diana's own words. I would've liked it better if this edition included more pages dedicated to direct words from William and Harry. Maybe one day an anniversary edition of the future will have more inclusion of Diana's brother, nieces, sons, and grandchildren.

Years after its initial publication, Andrew Morton's earth-shattering book remains a heartfelt glimpse into the life of Princess Diana. The pages may be tearstained, but her legacy to this day is nothing short of brilliant and revolutionary.

interesting to read in light of current events but there was a lot of telling instead of showing and it got tedious especially toward the end

The interview portion of this edition was great, but the rest of the book repeated so much of the information (understandably) I didn’t feel the need to finish it.
