I agree with the other reviewers on this one. It was pleasantly different, but that didn't completely save it from feeling a bit like we were still treading water (bad pun). The world we are exploring is interesting, but not as captivating as the Harry Potter world, for instance. I'll stick it out to the end though, because I do want to know what's going to happen.

Continuing the Keys to the Kingdom series, this one was a little less solid feeling than the previous stories. I still loved a lot of the ideas and imagery and the setting created, but it felt less fully formed if that makes sense.
