Not quite what I expected.. Was a lot more informative then actual stories.. Was an alright read though..

This book, written by a qualified paramedic of over ten years, is a well-rounded and unfiltered look into the role of a qualified paramedic in the modern era. Each chapter looks into a specific case he has attended ranging from cardiac arrests to mental health calls and discusses all the actions taken alongside the authors' feelings regarding each situation he found himself in. As a student paramedic, it gives an insight into the sort of patients I could come across once qualified.

True story written by an NHS paramedic. Would not recommend. It's a series of stories set over several years. Richard and Judy Book Club

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Interesting insight into the job of a paramedic.
However, felt a bit disjointed due to how the chapters where set out and kept jumping back and forward between the patients and the authors views.
