This series is getting more and more interesting. My first thought when I started reading this book was: TAMANI IS SCOTTISH?! I had some trouble with this for a while, even after I was done with this book. But then I Youtube searched Scottish accents, found that an actor I love, James Mcavoy, is Scottish, listened to him speak, and was perfectly content with Tamani's brouge.
Laurel is still driving me kind of crazy. It was a whole bunch of steps with her in this book; one step forward, two steps back, take one huge leap, then two steps forward, one step back. Over and over. Oh, well. There were some moments where she seemed to be making great decisions but then began to stumble. I wish there were more Avalon moments in this book, because so far in this series, other than one part in this book, my favorite thing that's happened was Laurel's first visit to Avalon at the beginning of Spells.
I don't know how I feel about Yuki; near the end of the book she started to irritate me and by the very end I don't think I liked her at all. I'm just already ready for the next book. Aprilynne, please don't make us wait a whole year! PLEASE! Gahhhhhhhhhhh.
Really great book. Read it.

This was my favorite series back in H.S. I read it over and over like a billion-trillion times.

I was not expecting the ending.....Well I was to an extent, but just WOW.
Chelsea is my favorite character.
I find it hard to sympathize with Laurel in this love triangle.
I honestly didn't see the very end coming though. It was a nice change as the last two novel's endings were a bit predictable.

This book was ok. Not as good as the ones before it. Nothing really happened. It was boring, until the end. OMG! That end! I need the next book. Like, now!
I really didn't like Yuki. It was obvious that she was causing Laurel's headaches. She acted like she was better than them. Plus she was trying to date Tamani! Talking a bunch of bs about how they could have been soul mates and all that crap. No! Tamani needs to be with Laurel. And even though Tamani says he loves Lauel it seems like he has feeling for Yuki. Which makes me hate her even more! Yuki just needs to go back to Japan. Am I the only one who didn't like her? Then she turns out to be a Winter fae. Which then made me dislike her even more. Why couldn't she be a Summer? And not one of the most powerful one.
So glad that Laurel kinda admitted she had feeling for Tamani. And they are kissing! Yes, finally! And she finally broke up with a David. Hopefully for good. I really don't like David. It's not that he's a bad guy it's just that it doesn't seem like Laurel really loves him. And he gets super jealous about Tamani. They even got in a fist fight! Tamani is the better choice, he can actually understand her. I hope that Laurel decides to go to Avalon to finish her studies instead of going to college in the human world. She needs to learn this stuff.

This is the 3rd book in this series and while I enjoyed it, I got pretty tired of the whole love triangle aspect. It seemed to take up a majority of this book.
This is my favorite fae series so far. And this book was amazing. It had a lot of mystery and a lot of new twists that were added to the story. And what a cliffhanger, I must say! Things will go a bit crazy from now on, I'm sure.
The love triangle was very discussed, sometimes it tired me. I just can't know how someone can be as indecisive as Laurel, seriously. In this book I felt she acted less in the story, in the 'mixing' department. And since the story focused away from Laurel a bit, I think this was intended.
What I loved about this book's writing in particular was more detail into Tamani's thoughts and feelings. Although it is in 3rd person (which is my favorite style, without a doubt- I just get tired of so many 1st person books there are in YA), it used to keep more with Laurel, most of the time. This one focused away from her so much more, it gave the story a lot more dimension. And going with Tamani on his action scenes were very exciting.
Yuki was a new character and I still don't know what to make of her. Shar's presence was very good to the story, and new aspects of Seelie and Unseelie fairies just made the story deeper.
Just loved this book. A really fast read, very unputdownable :)
I think there's only one book left in the series, I hope everything gets tied up nicely, I'd love to see this amazing series finishing with perfection as well.
