guys i didn’t like this book as much as everyone else liked it. did i love chole? yes 100% but did this book miss for me just a little? yes 100%

now i could just be in a slump from summer reading but this book was just okay for me. i loved the representation chronic illness i think they author did so well with writing chole. oh i also loved how the author covered red’s character.

idk i just couldn’t love this. i ended up speed reading the end bc i was over it. maybe i’ll try the other books in the series. also guys some seller or non seller points: they’re british, the book is in third person, and red’s pov not pov but if yk yk addressed the vagina as a cunt. is that british terminology??

This story was a delight!  It is definitely a cozy romantic comedy. The chronic pain/ disability reparation was really interesting. It’s not something I’m used to, but it definitely added to the story. As of now, I’m definitely #TeamRedfordMorgan. I will definitely be continuing with the other books in the series.

It was so lovely to see Chloe be her full self, black disabled and brilliant as the star of a romance. Her and Red both are complicated wonderful people surrounded by people who are invested in them and their success.

Such a cute light and fluffy rom com with amazing disability rep, characters, plot, and steamy scenes. Ticked all my boxes.

The audiobook was great! It’s narrated by Adjoa Andoh, who plays Lady Danbury in Bridgerton.
