I love this book. It proved that communication is very important for a relationship. Loved the characters and the very tiny cats as breakers ❤️. Would recommend to a horny friend.

3.5 // Ok, ok this was good yes. The relationship was adorable and I loved how mutual the feelings were. The way mental health was handled was also very genuine and not overly romanticized which was also fabulous rep. However, and it pains me to say this, maybe, just maybe, this was a bit overhyped ajjdjdjabsbe don't murder me for saying this. I came into this book with very high expectations mostly from booktubers like Kat who ranked this as their highest rated book of the year. (Btw this isn't like a callout against anyone's personal opinions I totally respect you for liking what you want!! Reading is very subjective). Anyways, for some reason this book just felt too steady for me. This is really just a personal preference but in terms of romances I appreciate a bit more tension and like yearning (AHHH YES I WROTE THAT YES I KNOW CRINGE AHH). While this book was marketed as enemies to lovers, for me, an avid fan of this trope, I just missed out on some extra drama. I think the author was aware of this fact, and to mend this she added this conflict in the last like 50 pages which felt so rushed and unnecessary.

That being said, this was a good romance, and something I would definitely recommend. Is it a favorite though, no.

Cute sunshine mmc and grumpy fmc. I love the disability representation (chronic pain/fibromyalgia) and the real consequences of invisible disabilities.

Some of the one liners from the MMC… wooo weee *sweats*

Overall cute but I didn’t have super strong emotional connections to the characters and I don’t love the miscommunication trope but it was a very small part of the story.
