Honestly maybe 2.5⭐️ it started off strong for me. I like both protagonists individually but didn’t really like them together for some reason. I appreciated the representation of chronic illness. Idk just wasn’t for me.

“‘You only like Born This Way because it’s all dark and evil and rah-rah-rah.’

‘Don’t be ridiculous. I like it because it’s unapologetically sexual and ironically German.’”

I know I'm very late to the Brown Sisters series. But it's been on my list for years, and this summer, I was in the mood to read fun and light-hearted romance, so finally got around to this. This book gave what it needed to give. Just an easy and fun read, which was exactly what I was looking for. I enjoy Talia Hilbert's style. Honestly wasn't prepared for the explicit scenes, though! 😆 Will definitely read the second and third book in the series.
