I really liked the language and pacing but the stories felt a lot like fables
This read a lot like a fairytale which worked well based on the tone and general storyline that Wilde had established. The titular Prince was likeable and the story was easy to follow and understanding the moral implications of. I adore Wilde's style so much and it is continually evident here!

Beautiful little collection of stories. My favourites were The Nightingale and the Rose and The Happy Prince, both a little sad but lovely all the same.

Wilde has such a way with words, they really reach off of the paper to grip your heart. This is a collect of sad, but moral and beautiful stories for children. The Happy Prince and the Nightengale and the Rose would both get 5 stars from me.
