🪻The Younger Wife by Sally Hepworth 🪻

MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.25

Stephen Aston is remarrying—but he’s still married to his first wife, who’s in a care home with dementia.
His daughters, Tully and Rachel, suspect the new fiancée, Heather—who’s their age—has secrets of her own. As they dig into their family’s past, dangerous truths begin to surface.

This book was okay! I picked it up at a thrift store and think I’ve read some of her books before and gave it a try. I didn’t really like any of the characters, and felt there were a lot of plot lines/backgrounds we could have for more information on. I also felt the ending was not satisfying and there are other ways this could have gone that would have made a lot of sense LOL. I got kind of bored reading it, but did enjoy the different POVs and didn’t mind the writing. I’ll probably try some of this authors other books.

Read this if you like:
  • family dynamics
  • multiple perspectives
  • unanswered questions
