Not directed to my age range, just kind of skimmed the book to get an idea of the story, not too bad but not interesting enough to take time and read.

This book will show you not to judge a book by it's cover. while also showing you that some people aren't as bad as they look... they're much worse.

Unfortunately, the idea of found family/female friendship wasn't as prevalent here as with Darling Girls, which made the poetic justice fell a little short.

A lot more effort was required to give a sense of a trio friendship between Tully/Rachel/Heather. But because each character continued to either second-guess each other, or hold onto their respective secrets, the 3 POVs never felt cohesive even though they each witnessed the same murder.

Also what was the point of having Fiona Arthur's perspective? Her value-add was as low as bypasser.

This book is told through the perspective of two sisters and their fathers much younger fiancée.
The girls mother is in a care facility for dementia and starts having outbursts regarding their father that leads the sisters to question the type of man their father is.

This story grabbed me right away, but I was so let down by the ending.
