This was the most meh thriller that I have read this year. I left like nothing happened. It was all about whiney adult daughters who were struggling with their moms dementia and their dad moving on.

I wanted dark and twisty, this was not it. I do a three strike rule with every new author and this is strike one. ❌

I’m surprised this book isn’t rated more highly. I was excited to listen after loving and being hooked to The Good Sister, which kept me constantly guessing who the good sister actually was. While a little more serious in nature, this book did the same and I appreciated how I found the female characters genuinely likable. The author seems to lean toward quirky characters, which I appreciate too. Audiobook was great for bringing that to life and the Australian accents were a great plus

Slight spoiler- Rachel was the star for me

Her books are always the perfect escape! Such a fun read!

Found this one boring and it was hard for me to care about any of the characters because they never felt fully fleshed out. Each character had one defining problem/ trait and that made them feel very dull.

Easy read with a story line that hooks you in.
