I loved this book and this topic but I kind of have a problem with it. This book deals with serious and upsetting topics in real life situations people actually go through which this book doesn't go in depth with which is good because it is geared towards the 8-12 age group. Because of the topic, I feel like the kids in the story should have been older and also the age group. Other than that part, the book was extremely good and I just really like how the author chooses to write 7 different point of views and all of them are so unique.

Not the best portrayal of diabetes I've ever read, but also not the worst. I felt like the author had done some research and had at least tried to get things right, even if to me it wasn't always entirely successful.
I didn't really enjoy it. luke's story ended way too quickly. Peter didn't really have one. Jessica's was irrelevant as was Anna's
The way each of the characters developed and reacted to the situations felt very realistic. I loved the development of the relationships between all of the characters. Specifically how they all reacted to the things going on in their family lives. Jessica reconnecting with her dad. Lexi dealing with her mom's cancer. Anna's mom and Danielle's brother getting married. Jeffrey's parents changing their attitudes because of Asher.

Good in 6th grade; still good in 11th grade.
Update: lol just watch as my rating for this gets lower and lower as I realize how let down I was by this book. (Nothing actually wrong with it, it was just a dumb and unnecessary addition to the series.)
Wow, this was so good!
At first I wasn't liking it quite as much as the first two, but by the end I was crying so hard, and it was amazing!
However, I would really like it if the author would stop torturingme the characters!
They're my lovely smol darlings, and they go through so much pain, and I just want it to stop!
And I just realized they're now only a year or two younger than me. Weird.
This was such a beautiful book, and a simply stunning way to wrap up the series.
If you haven't already read these, you are missing out. I really can't sum this up more accurately than wow. Or sobbing. That would work too.
