Don't Look Now

A solid investigative read that made for a good road trip audiobook. Fans of Long Bright River would definitely enjoy.

I didn’t hate it and I didn’t really like it but I did enough to finish. This was all about the mystery and catching a murderer. Not really my type of book. I thought we would see the romantic development while catching a murderer but it wasn’t there until the very end. That made the romance very unbelievable for me. I did like the plot but I guessed who it was way too quickly (I only have a successful guess rate of about 25%) and I didn’t really feel like we got any big twists or turns that would make me have liked this more as part of the mystery/thriller genre instead of romance.

It was cool. Not as suspenseful as you’d think a book about a serial killer would be.

Recommended! A fun read!

I enjoyed this book. It was intense, especially dealing with a serial killer, but, thank goodness, it was handled without too much fear! There were many interesting characters that was written so you could easily keep up with them all. It has suspense, sadness, romance and all emotions. I read it quickly. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants all of the above elements I mentioned above!

I think I had different expectations. The writing also just wasn’t for me. It felt as if the authors sometimes sacrified feelings and emotions over investigation info dumping. I don’t know, that just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Good good
Love the how the title plays into the book unexpectedly!
The very end Just felt like it was on fast forward.

I listened to the audiobook for this. And it was so good. I enjoyed the characters and the mystery behind everything. I will say that I did figure out who the killer was before the reveal. But outside of that it was a pretty descent book.
