[2.5] for a world that was supposed to be magical, it felt underwhelming; character, worlbuilding and plot wise (it was also quite predictable)

I really liked the storyline - it made a really good fantasy setting. However, I do feel like the ending was a bit too rushed - I had to reread parts of it to fully wrap my head around it. Overall a pretty good book, and although I didn’t really like Tella that much in this book I hope I find out more about her in the next one.

main character was sooooo annoying to me and the love interest storyline also weirded me out and prob would’ve given this one star and DNF’ed but i did enjoy the world that was built around caraval
