I’ve had this one on my self since it was released in 2021 and I’m so glad I finally picked it up! This one kept me guessing throughout the entire story! One of the mysteries, I knew pretty early on but I honestly love being able to parse out the mystery before it’s revealed so that’s a good thing in my book! The main reveal was honestly insane and I can’t imagine being so desperate to get into college that you’d kill someone but to each their own I guess 😂😅 overall, this was a really intriguing story that kept me enthralled from start to finish!

Almost this entire book was amazing. I found myself guessing with Olivia who the murderer is and I got very invested in her future. The last couple of chapters just went by too fast. I didn’t feel a genuine conclusion for the characters and the motive for the killing was not my favorite angle. I found myself wishing this was a series, or at least a duology.

Overall, this book is fun and fast paced. Reading as an adult, it made me remember the pressures of high school and how challenging and competitive it could feel.

this was a lot of fun! I can understand some of the criticisms in other reviews over Olivia’s character development but I overall enjoyed this mystery a lot. A little predictable of course, but it wouldn’t make much sense if it was any other way.
