4.25! i thought this was super fun and entertaining- it was such a cool concept tbh and the character growth + development for one character (not main!) was lovely!

This book gives a good girl’s guide to murder meets boarding school. It was absolutely crazy to read, especially as someone who graduated high school in 2021 and was in the same college admission cycle. The ending truly surprised me, because what I thought was the ending left about an hour left in the book.

I absolutely did not expect the ending or the outcome for a lot of the characters. A lot of the characters had a completely different ending than I expected halfway through the book. Absolutely insane. I want to watch this as a TV show and see Claftin in real life.

This book really kept the mystery alive. Even though the red herring was so obvious, the rest was solid. I kept changing my mind about the culprit every couple of pages.

I felt the tone of the book was a little too juvenile considering the subject, but it's YA so it kinda has to be juvenile. I would have liked it way more if the characters were older and fighting in college.

Overall, it's a pretty good book and a solid mystery.
