2.5. It did keep me reading but really cringy storyline with Theo and the ending was just not believable at all. It was an easy summer read and if you are looking for that then maybe pick this up but don’t really expect too much.

This book was terrible! The characters were awful, especially the main character who was an idiot. The storyline was terrible, also stupid. Even though the book was 230 pages it could have been written in 50. Don’t waste your time. There are so many better books out there. What trash.
I was a little disappointed with this book. I enjoy the author and earlier this year I had read her book Summerland and really loved it. This was ofcourse written beautifully as she always does but I felt it was a bit predictable and kind of aweful. All of the things that happened in the book (to the very last decision made by Kayla) were terrible. I usually would round up with a rating but I didn't think it deserved three stars. I would give this a 2.5 star rating. I finished the book and the characters have real feelings, the descriptions are lovely but I didn't enjoy the actual story and Theo made me mad!
