3.5! Interesting, different beach read than normal. I feel like this is def not Elon’s traditional style. Disappointed in the ending/would have done differently. Someone else’s review said none of the characters are likeable, definitely agree lol. I think I’m in my Elin era and want to read all of her Nantucket/beach books.
One of my least favorites of hers. Glad it was read during some "dead time" in the car. Would have been sad to have had this on a vacation or even in the hammock in the back yard!

1 star is too much. This book was sooooooo bad. The characters were insufferable, the plot(s) were ridiculous, with the main one being so cringe. If this was the first Hilderbrand novel I’ve ever read, I’ve never read another. This was honestly painstaking to get through.
