Slow start!

In the end, I do enjoy both Fiona and Jane as characters because they are human. They’ve made mistakes, still make mistakes, and yet are still good people at the end of the day. The story telling was interesting, weaving in and out of their lives at different points going back in time.

The biggest downfall was I thought this would be more about their growing friendship but I felt like I spent more time with their hookups then the two of them.

Following the life of two friends since second grade. Wanted to like the book more. At times it was hard to follow the story between the two view points.

truly just too bored to continue. there was nothing that held my interest or intrigued me enough to push through a maybe slow beginning.

Had a lot of potential but definitely was a let down. The convos were stale, the time line was all over the place and confusing. Touch on serious topics but didn’t seem to dive into it as much as I would like.

If this novel were a painting, it would have lovely impressionistic brush strokes.

Fiona and Jane are both memorable characters whom I loved getting to know. I also enjoyed the slightly disorienting narrative structure, and the secondary characters like Jane's mom.

Applause.
