This wasn't really what I thought it'd be.  I picked this because I needed a memoir for one of my reading challenges and i was interested in the gov and UFO sightings, but this was more like a 10 hour career brief from a career gov worker.  You know like the ones who give their entire career history and take way to long during round the room introductions that make you roll your eyes, you know the ones!  Look it wasn't a bad story.  It was interesting it was just nothing like the title eludes to!  No secrets here folks!  Keep watching those Netflix or Amazon shows instead!  This should have been titled how to circumvent retribution:  the truth to the Gov changing how UFO data is published and viewed.

I heard interviews with the author and was intrigued. At first, there's an impressive core group of experienced and talented scientists, field operatives, Top Gun pilots, and career folks in the Department of Defense. But then he gets into his telepathic abilities due to his Cherokee blood (?) and he teams up with...the founder of the band Blink-182. What? After reading the book, I checked out the History Channel show "Unidentified" which really could have been 3 episodes. They use the same footage over and over as filler to expand it 14 episodes over two seasons (yeesh), and if the people involved are all as impressive as they claim to be, the Blink-182 guy had no business being in the same room with those guys. Very bizarre.

Well-written, with enough historical references for the uninitiated to get their bearings in a vast topic, arguably the most important in modern times, and plenty of interesting nuggets to keep us dyed-in-the-wool space cadets riveted about these mysterious rivet-less craft and their occupants.
informative medium-paced

For people who are paying attention to the topic, there’s nothing new here.
