This is one of the finest history books I’ve ever read. It’s fascinating and devastating to read. I only had a passing knowledge of the Comanche Indians before reading this gripping account of their dominance of the Great Plains and their ultimate downfall before the relentless advance of the White settlers in the 19th century. I want to know MORE now! I highly recommend this book!
