Well that sure was another comic in the series. I find Negan so annoying in the comics, but I think it was funny when he broke off his rant about wanting Carl thrown over the wall to complain that the Humpty Dumpty rhyme doesn’t make sense.

As always, even when Rick messes up, people give him a "man you are just a REAL leader" speech. It gets really old. What I found really weird is that Negan is actually sort of charming, for being a horrible, horrible person. I think it's because he seems to have some over-sharing issues mixed in with his psychotic tendencies ("in my more private moments I've rubbed my dick on her"-Rick's face is very WTF as Negan is telling him this).

That said it was nice to see Rick actually spectacularly fuck up, and that as a result their attack will be expected. Another issue in which I had trouble figuring out which short dark-haired character was Maggie and which was Carl. But! King Ezekiel and Shiva were nice new characters.

My god. Another book and still no closure with Negan. Come on already.

ugh that fake Andrea death would’ve been such a slay on screen

Are these TPBs getting shorter? I'm sure I can remember the first volumes being a good chunky read, but I blew through this in about 20 minutes.

I'm so tired. I started reading this before I went to bed and ended up reading it all in one go. Finally the settlements join forces and start their war against Nagan. Still a great series.

Hilltop, O Reino e… A outra cujo nome me escapa…

Antes, experimenta o Wook e começa no início!

As always, The Walking Dead is an interesting and fast-paced read, but Vol 19 seemed a little to jumbled and sloppy for me. We know Rick isn’t going to die but he keeps on getting himself in situations where it realistically shouldn’t be possible for him to survive, but he always does. It’s fine for Rick to live, I want Rick to live, but it just seems the situations he survives are getting more farfetched.

While some of the things are a bit far-fetched (I'm looking at you, tiger) at least an effort is made to explain them. Oh, and Jesus is a little bit overly superpowered, sure, but it is not enough to ruin anything for me. The surprise moments and the characters (especially the longest-lived people) really do mean a lot to me now. And Negan is entertaining, even if I don't find him fully believable. Yeah, I am still enjoying this series, so I'm going to keep reading it.
