I didn't like this one quite as much as the first one but it was still really good. Victor and Eli, our antiheros, are at it again. They are trying to save the world from EOs (extraoridnaries) like themselves. Eli teams up with EON (a division in charge of searching out EOs) when he finds out there's another hunter out there. Victor is on the hunt for a cure so he can stop having episodes where he keeps dying and coming back to life. Lots of new characters and powers. Very entertaining.

Wow. Vicious was a 5 before I read this. This book has changed my scale. Vicious is now a 4.9 and this book is a solid 5. I’m attached to all of these characters and the ending of this book was incredible. So many things happened in such a short amount of time and I am desperately waiting for book 3 now. Definitely a page turner, I got through all 462 pages in less than 2 days.

i think maybe v.e. schwabs writing just does not draw me in that much. this was a good continuation of vicious but i wish #1 june and sydney's relationship went a bit farther and #2 i cared about the characters more. marcella is fun but that's kinda it tbh. not painful to read but not a recommendation from me
