What a delightful adventurous life Isabella has led. If you are looking for a cosy fantasy with adrenaline and tear inducing themes of dragons, society, love, and fulfilling one’s dreams then this is the story for you. Definitely on the slower side and do note that this is only one early event in Lady Trent’s long notable life, there are also some colonial and societal undertones of gender, class, and race disparities typical of the time period. I did however have a blast and could see myself continuing with the series.
