I wanted to give this a better rating, but in the end it fell short for me. The writing is enjoyable and the story is nice, but too much time is spent inside the two main characters' heads as they think the same thoughts about each other over and over. The part from when Grace was kidnapped until the action started was too long,in my opinion, and the part from the end of the kidnapping to the end of the book was rushed. I wanted to see Nash interact with his family. I wanted to See Nash interact with Grace! We slowly gain insight into the characters, which was nice, but then, BAM! the story resolves and it's over without the characters getting to resolve issues "on screen."

Meh. The story was pretty boring and the character weren't anything to write about. The blurb makes it sound way more interesting than it was.

My best friend picked this one out for me to read so I don't know that I would've ever picked it up on my own. It was alright, honestly—it was quick to get through, and it wasn't bad but it was just missing a bit of spark for me.

I absolutely loved this sweet romance.
When Grace's uncle realizes the inheritance Grace will receive, he starts scheming. The man he betroths Grace too seems a bit shady.
Thank goodness for The Kidnap Club! They'll keep her hidden until her 21st, when she'll be "free!"
Nash gave his word, each and every time, not to touch the women under his protection. What happens though when there is something "there?"
I've read a bit more than half way through so I don't slip with a spoiler. I can't wait to finish!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
