this was probably my favorite book in the series so far but it still wasn’t quite 5 star worthy unfortunately.
something about the writing still just isn’t my favorite but i really do love the characters and most of the storylines which makes up for it.
magnus and alec are still my favs even though they broke my heart.
still excited to read the conclusion to the series and hoping it’ll finally be a 5 star read!

Good ending and I enjoyed it more than the last book. Sebastian was creepy and inappropriate as always. Cassandra Clare writes some weird characters, I mean that in the best possible way. :P
The way Cassandra Clare used her words in this book is mesmerizing. I just got grabbed hold and couldn't stopped reading each time. It's the best, apart from Twilight Series

This one was really slow, I was bored with the triangle relationship of Jace, Clary & Sebastian quite quickly. I did love the change of scenery between different europeans cities.
Simon is still the best characters and I wish Magnus and Alec's relationship would be talked a bit more in depth.
Hopefully the last book of the saga make it up for it, this one is my least favorite so far I did enjoy the first four best.

I liked this book! There were parts of it that bugged me but I love how it mostly ended. Obviously there will be another book because of how it ended. I guess the only negative thing that I can say about this book is I think that there sometimes was too much description on things that I think were not necessary.
