Oh, my Goodness. I went into this book after the previous one and I got extremely busy in the meantime, which is why it took me a month to finish it. I have to say Simon is my favorite character, which is why I thoroughly enjoyed the previous book, and this one? Well, not so much. Not as much as the previous one, that is. The thing is Jace isn't my favorite character by a mile, and I find his romance with Clary pretty cliché and annoying at best, BUT. The final two chapters of the book made the entire book for me. I can't believe how good this woman is at describing epic battles. Plus, the entire side-plot with Alec and Magnus was SO INTERESTING. I love those two, I hope Magnus can understand Alec and maybe forgive him (and then get back together, PLEASE). Anyway. It gets five stars because the story is still riveting, the characters are still funny, and the relationship between Simon and Clary is still great.

Too much POVs, and this too, LOVE.

This was definitely a step up from City of Fallen Angels because there was actually a plot throughout the whole book (gasp). However, one main aspect of the plot in this book was really problematic and just really bothered me. The end of this book was very intense and honestly is the reason this book is getting a 4 instead of a 3.5.

Can i cry? Ok I'm going to cry :')

Este libro te hará sufrir. Algunas parejas son felices, otras no. Algunas personas viven, otras no. Y a veces reirás y otras llorarás. Reseña: http://alwaysinourownworld.blogspot.com.es/2013/12/ciudad-de-las-almas-perdidas.html

I have so many things to say about this book. It is a lot to take in. The good, the bad, the ugly. But all of it beautiful in a way I can't describe.

Watching relationships flourish and break, new love and old, just tugs at the strings of my heart.

However, despite all of this, there are many things I wish to discuss:

Namely,
Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern trying to rape his sister again a wall. I understand that it was meant to show just how deranged and evil and wrong he is, but why? Why did Cassandra Clare need to write that? I am nothing but sick to my stomach after reading that.

Thing number two that I have "beef" with:
Magnus breaking up with Alec in the subway, in that way. I understand how Magnus feels. He has been alive for so long. And he finally finds the love of his life who just happens to be mortal, and who wants to ride him of his immortality. I do not think that Alec understands that Magnus' immortality is a part of him and can not be taken away. Especially his own need to be with him.

Despite everything this is this book, I will never not love it the way I do.
