Major cliffhanger wtf I am starting Heavenly Fire right now 😩

*SPOILER ALERT HERE*

I really cried when I thought that Jace was really dead. Reading and following this series made me imagine being in Clary's shoes and being so inlove that you would do everything, anything for that person.

And I was totally left hanging when I was on the last page of the epilogue. Can't wait for the City of Heavenly Fire. :D

It was good, keeps you intrigued and now I need to read the next one.

This book felt like it took forever and a day to get through.
By god, it didn’t need to be that long. It was incredibly dragged out, and the only part that held my interest was the last 100 pages.

Let’s not even get started on the whole Clary-Jace-Sebastian fiasco. Clary and Jace seriously made me want to pull my hair out, bang my head against a wall, and just give up. I truly didn’t think main characters could get as annoying as they did, especially Clary. Girl, get it together! If she had just taken a moment to sit down and think for once, so much of the chaos could have been avoided. Like mother, like daughter—holy crap.

Simon really carried this book, bless him. I was breathing a sigh of relief whenever his POV came into play. The slow burn relationship between him and Isabelle is the one I’m actually rooting for. Can’t wait for more of them!

Now, onto Malec. My babies. Malec broke my heart in this book. Seeing the struggles and reckless, desperate mistakes they made in their relationship was tough. Did I think Alec was unnecessarily unfair to Magnus? Yes, but I also understood where he was coming from. And well, he got what was coming for him at the end. Magnus did the right thing, even if it shattered my soul to watch it unfold. This is the kind of character and relationship depth I was expecting from Clace, but only the angels know what went wrong there.

The ending along with Malec and Sizzy are literally the only reasons I’m picking up the final book. It better not disappoint, because this one really put me through the ringer. As for the last 100 pages, calling it stressful is an understatement. And then Clary adding fuel to the fire—of course, everything blew up the way it did. Also, the whole Maryse thing? What even was that? I was left shook.

P.S. Jordan and Maia are adorable. Their parts were such a breath of fresh air. I love them! I’m also rooting so hard for Aline and Helen. Yes, my girls!

I liked this one SO MUCH that I gave it a higher star than all the ones before it! Not even kidding, this series has gotten better as it goes. I actually liked CLARY in this book (I've really hated her whiny ass before now)! And now, I'm on to the 6th book of this series and if I still like it, I'll go on to the Infernal Devices series!

(Side note: I now remember how expensive reading books you have to buy rather than get from a library is... I'm now poor as hell.)
